Dominion Voting Systems sent a cease and desist letter to My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell this week for spreading false information about the 2020 election.

In the months since the 2020 election was finalized, Donald Trump and his allies have floated conspiracy theories about the election results and Dominion voting machines, resulting in the company taking legal action.

Dominion is suing Sidney Powell, Trump’s lawyer, for defamation alleging $1.3 billion in damages. A Dominion employee has also sued Trump himself.

Photographers caught Lindell and Trump meeting last week with notes referencing martial law and Powell.

“I want Dominion to put up their lawsuit because we have 100% evidence that China and other countries used their machines to steal the election,” Lindell said.

The CEO has become known for peddling election conspiracies. Last year, he promoted a fake cure to the coronavirus.

The letter orders Lindell to “preserve and retain all documents relating to Dominion and your smear campaign against the company.” It also states that Lindell must “preserve, without limitation,” all communications with Sidney Powell, Rudy Giuliani, Jenna Ellis, L. Lin Wood and each of their partners, associates, and paralegals.”
