Trump Plans To Run Again In 2024, Former Intelligence Chief Richard Grenell Says

Former President Donald Trump has not been quiet about his plans to run for president in the 2024 election.

Richard Grenell, former intelligence chief under Trump, told Newsmax that Trump “personally, a number of times,” indicated that “he does want to run again.” Trump has recently hinted though that if he did run, it may not be as a Republican.

Despite his incredible popularity among American GOP voters, Trump has talked about forming his own party, the Patriot Party.

“Clearly, Donald Trump is a Republican and should run again as a Republican,” Grenell said. Grenell, and other analysts expect, that if Trump did start his own party, it could divide GOP voters.

Bill Maher and other figures have been quick to compare the idea of a Trumpist party to other historical personality-driven party leaders like Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini.

The comparison has been mocked by Sebastian Gorka, in his own Newsmax interview, who said “you have to laugh: When did the word ‘patriots’ become controversial?”
