Dota 2: Forev Will Take A Break From Competitive Dota

One of South Korea’s best players will take a break from competitive Dota 2.

Even though Lee “Forev” Sang-don is currently competing in the SEA DPC League Lower Division, he decided to take a break. Forev is a part of HOYO, a team that’s definitely has a lot of potential and we can clearly see that from their results.

However, due to personal issues, one of the best players on the team decided to step back. He states in his Twitter post that he has a problem with his own business, mainly due to COVID-19 in South Korea.

When can we expect him to get back?

We don’t know whether Forev will be back anytime soon. The good news is that the player will be available for a possible tiebreaker, which is good news for HOYO. At the moment, his team is sitting in fourth place in the league, but it still has a chance to end up as a winner.

Following Forev’s decision, the team has to play with a standin for the next four matches. Unfortunately, we don’t know who will take his place yet. Keep in mind that it’s important for each team in the Lower Division to finish either first or second. This will help them receive an invitation for the Upper Division next season.

HOYO’s next match is on the 8th of February and it will be against Galaxy Racer. Be sure to follow ESTNN if you want to know more information about the ongoing DPC.
