The new iPad Pro 2021 could be as powerful as the latest Macs.
According to trusted Apple leaker, Mark Gurman, the tablet's chipset might be just as juicy as the M1 used in the latest line of MacBooks.
Gurman has claimed the processor could be “on par” with the chip, which would make it better than the A14 Bionic in iPhone 12 smartphones.
He also claimed that the largest iPad will come with a Mini LED display, which will improve the brightness and make it slightly thicker.
However, it's not anticipated that the new line of 5G iPads will be much different in shape and style.
A preview leak in January claimed that the iPad will continue with "Touch ID, a Lightning ports Full-Lamination Displays, Anti-reflective Coating, P3 Displays, True Tone Displays etc."
As noted by Tech Radar, this suggests that the model will simply be leaner rather than a full redesign.
