Donald & Melania Trump Were Vaccinated In January, Ex President Reveals

WASHINGTON, DC - OCTOBER 05: U.S. President Donald Trump removes his mask upon return to the White House from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on October 05, 2020 in Washington, DC. Trump spent three days hospitalized for...

In a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) Sunday, former President Donald Trump indirectly told crowds that he had indeed been vaccinated. Sources later confirmed that Trump received the a COVID-19 vaccine while still in the White House.

Trump urged the crowd at CPAC to get vaccinated telling them, “How unpainful that vaccine shot is, so everybody go get your shot,” marking an unexpected change in tone for the former president who, when in office, regularly downplayed the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic and the importance of social distancing and mask wearing.

Former Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton had their vaccinations recorded in order to promote the public safety. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were both vaccinated on live television in December.

During his speech at CPAC Sunday, Trump claimed that his administration ought to get most of the credit for COVID-19 vaccine development and distribution, “Never let them forget this was us. We did this,” Trump said to the crowds.

Trump’s claim, however, runs counter to reports from several members of the Biden administration who said they inherited no plans for vaccine distribution, despite the fact the United States already had vaccine doses.
