CoD: Winners And Losers Of CDL Super Week

Here are the teams whose stock went up, or down, following the CDL Super Week.

The Call of Duty League Super Week brought us the CDL action we all know and love. With some shocking results, many teams' stock has fallen, or risen following the event. So, here’s our winners and losers of the CDL Super Week.

Winners

Paris Legion

Paris Legion were counted out by many of the Call of Duty League fans, and rightfully so. The team was brought together last minute, however they made waves during the Super Week. Their victories against Florida Mutineers and Toronto Ultra saw them play excellently, while they also took Atlanta FaZe to a game five. Skrapz has been a major player, and if he can continue, they’ll be a dangerous underdog team.

New York Subliners

While they lost 3-0 to the Los Angeles Thieves, it was one of the closest games we’ve seen so far. In the Super Week, NYSL came out hot, winning back to back 3-0’s before being reverse swept by Dallas Empire. They secured a winners bracket spot for the first Major, and Asim has played at an unreal pace, leading the Subliners to their series wins.

Losers

Florida Mutineers

The Florida Mutineers have struggled to close out their Search and Destroy games, and this has been an issue. Owakening has dominated and secured many first bloods, however his teammates have struggled to close out rounds. Finishing the stage 1-4 is something that Mutineers fans would’ve not expected, and they’ll be looking for more in the Major.

London Royal Ravens

The London Royal Ravens are yet to win a match in the 2021 Call of Duty League season, and this doesn't look good. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a clear issue, instead, the Ravens just seem to lack behind the rest of the league. Taking on Toronto Ultra in the first round in the Major is massive for them, if they lose, they’ll be 0-6 and out of the Major, so they need to show up.

The Call of Duty League continues with the stage one Major on Wednesday March 3, where all 12 teams will be competing for a prize pool of $500K.
