Onic Esports Announces New LoL Wild Rift Roster

Onic Esports seeks to bolster its chances to win in the upcoming Wild Rift SEA Icon Series: Preseason.


It presented a roster composed of a mixture of Arena of Valor pros, former League of Legends players and three newcomers.

They picked up Arena of Valor players Farhan “Hanss” Akbari and Hartanto “Pokka” Lius from EVOS Esports. Hanss has been winning AOV championships since 2018. He recently won the silver medal for Indonesia in the 30th South East Asian Games - Esports.

Pokka was Hanss’ teammate in the said silver medal performance in the 30th South East Asia Games. He had been playing in AOV leagues since 2018 and has been an EVOS mainstay since 2018. He placed first with the team in many tournaments, the most recent of which is the AOV Star League Season 4. He will be coaching the newly formed team.

Onic also acquired the services of PC League of Legends pros Govher “Gov” Tallulembang Madethen and Randy “Santana” Haryanto Manik. Gov began as a pro with The Jokes on You in 2016 after which he moved to Fortius, Phoenix Esports and Team nxl before going back to The Jokes on You in 2018. His highest tournament finish was second place in the LoL Garuda Series 2017 Season - Summer. Santana played for Phoenix Esports before getting picked by Onic.

The three new recruits are Yasir “Ysa” Yasyfa Amin, Iko “Frezzy” Setiawan and Ibrahim “Hundjaegers” Ali. Wild Rift SEA Icon Series: Preseason will be their proving grounds.
