Rainbow Six Siege Collegiate Grand Finals

Starting in July 2020, 164 teams across the United States and Canada battled for a $30 thousand prize pool and the title of best collegiate Rainbow Six Siege esports team. Out of the initial 164 teams, only four remain in the Rainbow Six Siege Collegiate Grand Finals: Akron, Grand Canyon University, Purdue, North Carolina State University.

Grand Finals

Each team will face off in a best of 5, single-elimination format. The R6 Collegiate Grand finals match day starts on Saturday, March 27 with Purdue facing NC State. Matches start at 11 a.m. PST. After the first game, Akron faces Grand Canyon around 3 p.m. PST.

The final two teams standing will battle for $10 thousand and the title of the first Rainbow Six Siege collegiate esports champions. The three remaining teams are awarded based on their placements. Second place receives $5 thousand while third and fourth place both earn $2.5 thousand.

Rainbow Six Siege Collegiate Esports

College attendees and fans can watch their favorite college esports on the Rainbow Six Siege esports Twitch. Casting talent will include Jacob “CaliberJacob” Anderson, Jonah “Jswills” Zeillinger, Bryan “ChiefCasts” Schubert and Conner “CdapsR6” D’Apollonio.

This first-ever Rainbow Six Collegiate Championship is sure to fire up college students and collegiate sports fans alike. Since launching the Rainbow Six Siege Collegiate Program last July, fans eagerly awaited the winner of the grand finals. Interested viewers can watch the grand finals on FACEIT or the R6 Twitch channel on March 27.
