Macaulay Culkin To Star In ‘American Horror Story: Double Feature’

Macaulay Culkin To Star In 'American Horror Story' Season 10

After a full year of teases, American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy has finally confirmed the theme of the hit show’s 10th season.

AHS: Double Feature will be “two horrifying stories… one by the sea” and “one by the sand,” Murphy revealed in a video posted to Instagram on Friday.

“It means two seasons for the fans in one calendar year,” Murphy clarified. “So double the viewing pleasure. One set by the sea (this cast has already been announced). A second by the sand (that cast announcement coming).”

In February 2020, before shooting for the “weather-dependent” season was delayed by the coronavirus pandemic, Murphy announced who would be returning for the season set in Providence, Massachusetts. Fans can expect to see Sarah Paulson, Macaulay Culkin, Kathy Bates, Lesile Grossman, Billie Lourd, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross and Finn WittrockFrances Conroy was later confirmed to be apart of season 10 while Denis O’Hare is also expected to return.

While almost all confirmed actors have appeared in past AHS seasons, Home Alone’s Culkin is a newcomer to the series. “I said, ‘Ok, here’s the pitch.’ And I told them the character and I told him he has crazy, erotic sex with Kathy Bates and does other things. And he paused and he goes, ‘This sounds like the role I was born to play.’ So, he signed up right then and there,” Murphy described to E! News how he got Culkin on the show.

While fans still don’t know when the series will return, AHS 10 is expected to premiere on FX later this year. In the meantime, all nine seasons can be streamed on Netflix and Hulu.
