ESTNN breaks down the FaZe Clan Elite Cup.
Popular esports organization FaZe Clan and Nissan are teaming up to host another Fortnite Practice Server’s Elite Cup. Top invited trios stretching across the United States will compete against one another alongside six other qualified squads. The three-day event commences on April 9, where 33 teams battle it out for a $25K prize pool and ultimate bragging rights ahead of Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) Chapter 2 - Season 6. Practice Server and Open Scrims have steadily grown the Elite Cup, which is now one of the most intriguing Fortnite tournaments thus far in Season 6.

Elite Cup Format
The FaZe Clan Elite Cup is a trios tournament. Twenty-seven invited teams and six open teams will compete in Fortnite matches for a massive prize pool. Day one consists of heat play, where teams have the chance to shine and advance to the semi-finals. To reach the Elite Cup’s first portion, open teams require an invite to the Practice Server. Once gaining access, only the top 99 trios will earn an invitation to heats. Those interested can learn more about the Practice Server and Open Scrims by visiting this website.

Three total heats will eventually narrow down to only 33 trios for the semi-finals. After semis, the top six teams move into the Grand Finals to compete for a piece of $25K USD. While no particular format is available at this time, you can check back here for more information.

Elite Cup Prize Pool
Thirty-three Grand Finalists will compete for $25K USD in prize money. FaZe Clan has not produced a breakdown or distribution yet, but check back here later for that information.

Where to Watch the Elite Cup
Competitive Fortnite fans looking to watch the best players participate in the Elite Cup can do so two different ways. FaZe Clan and Practice Server will broadcast the event on their respective Twitch channels. Viewers have a chance to win some prizes thanks to FaZe Clan during the three-day competition.
