Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma have added another bundle of joy to their family.

The Younger star and the singer/DJ shared the birth of their daughter on Instagram over the weekend after the couple confirmed on Friday that their second child together was born.

“Mae James Blair—We LOVE you beauty 3-24-21,” Duff captioned the photo of her holding her newborn, surrounded by Koma, their daughter Banks and Luca—Duff’s son with ex Mike Comrie.

Duff had an at-home birth for her third child. The gender of the baby was also a surprise for the family.

“We had a gender reveal with Banks and it was such a fun memory,” she told People in December. “Unfortunately, during these times we felt it wasn’t really appropriate. The way we are creating some excitement within the family is to wait to find out the sex on the baby’s birthday.”

She also noted at the time that her son Luca was hoping for a little brother. “He’s hoping for a boy so he can share all his old toys.”

Despite dyeing her hair blue in February, Duff wasn’t have a “strong feeling” on either gender of the baby.

“I’m actually a little scared to have another baby girl because Banks was a tough—she was a tough cookie as a baby but she’s so great now, so I could see it,” Duff said on a March episode of the Informed Pregnancy Podcast. “But then I don’t know, in my mind I’m like, ‘Maybe she’s my own little princess and she’s going to have her rough-and-tumble brothers’.”

She added, “Either way, we’re stoked and super excited. Everyone that’s closed to me thinks boy and then everyone that’s more of a stranger that’s like, ‘What are you having?’ they’re like, ‘We call girl’.”
