Katie Price has launched a home renovation Instagram account so people can follow the makeover of her mansion.
The 42-year-old star is moving back into the £2 million Sussex property, which fell into a state of disrepair in 2019, after spending the past several months living at her boyfriend Carl Woods' Essex home and she is going to be carrying out a major overhaul on the house.
Katie announced her plans to her fans on social media, sharing an aerial view of the building and commenting: "Follow my new Instagram page @plucky_mansion dedicated to my house I've decided to transform back to a family home and you can enjoy and give me advice and watch the journey."
A post on her new Instagram account displayed an explanation of the word "plucky" as "having or showing determined courage in the face in the face of difficulties" and it was accompanied by a caption asking her followers to give her ideas on how to re-model the home.
It read: "So it's true, I’ve decided to include everyone and want advice and ideas on making a new start on my so called mucky mansion. I want to turn it back into a gorgeous family home again, so please DM me if you have any ideas or if you want the chance to design a room in my house...the whole journey will be filmed with before and after pictures, with everything we use for the transformation from where the products are from to what companies we use and how much it costs...to show that you don’t need to spend a lot to create a perfect home! Me and @carljwoods will also show how good we are at diy lol (sic)"
The property has suffered numerous disasters, including a collapsed ceiling and a flooded kitchen.
In 2020, fire crews were called to extinguish a blaze at the mansion.
Although Katie is refurbishing her Sussex home, the former glamour model and her man Carl are also house-hunting for a nine-bedroom property so all of her children have their own rooms and she has space for guests to stay.
Katie has five children; Harvey, 18, with ex-boyfriend Dwight Yorke, Junior, 15, and Princess, 13, with her first husband Peter Andre, and Jett, six, and Bunny, five, with third husband Kieran Hayler.
A representative told The Sun Online: "I can confirm Katie and Carl are looking for a house to accommodate them."
