Dua Lipa models PUMA's new Mayze sneakers

Dua Lipa has modelled PUMA's new Mayze sneakers.

The 25-year-old Grammy-winner was first announced as the sportswear brand's ambassador in November, and the 'Levitating' hitmaker has appeared in the first campaign for the new creeper-style footwear.

She said in a press release: “The Mayze is the perfect fit, it works for me on stage and off. The classic stacked sole is so versatile, I can work it into any look.”

Shot by fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti, Dua posed in the chunky platform sneakers with fishnets, a PUMA windbreaker jacket and a bedazzled cherry bralette in one snap.

The 'New Rules' hitmaker first announced her partnership with PUMA on Instagram, where she revealed she will focus on promoting women's issues and gender equality.

She wrote at the time: "clearly very excited to announce that i’ve joined the @puma family as their new brand ambassador!!! ... Can’t wait for u to see what we have in store for ya (sic)"

Before adding in a statement: "I am so excited to announce my partnership with PUMA. From performance rehearsals to hiking in the hills, it's important to feel comfortable & look good. I've got so many ideas for the projects and campaigns I'll be taking part in and look forward to bringing them all to life with my PUMA family."

Dua will also front the company's 'She Moves Us' campaign, which aims to "inspire women who move together to achieve and connect through sport and culture".

Working with PUMA is a match made in heaven for the 'Hotter Than Hell' singer, who previously revealed she owns "a lot" of trainers.

She said: "I own a lot of trainers...My style is a representation of who I am but also a representation of my music and what inspires me."
