Montclair Says Tennis Permits Required for Use of Town Courts

Montclair residents will need to obtain tennis permits to play on municipal courts at Mountainside, Rand, Canterbury and Nishuane parks starting May 3, 2021. Residents (ages 5-adult) may apply for a FREE 2021 tennis permit through the Department of Recreation & Cultural Affairs. Proof of residency is required.

Montclair Tennis Permit holders will be allowed one (1) out-of-town guest for court play. Covid-19 Rules and restrictions must be followed – they are posted at the tennis courts.

  • All players must have their tennis permits when using the facilities.
  • NO PRIVATE PROFESSIONAL INSTRUCTION is permitted at any time.
  • Group lessons are under the direction of the Department of Recreation & Cultural Affairs.
  • Court usage is limited to one hour of play.
