Kanye West‘s attorneys filed his response to Kim Kardashian‘s divorce filing on Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court. Kardashian filed for divorce from her rapper husband seven weeks ago in February.

West’s petition was almost identical to the Kardashian’s. Both agreed that the almost seven year marriage ended over irreconcilable differences and that the two should have joint custody over their four children, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm. They both also asked that the court’s right to award spousal support to either person be terminated.

According to Kardashian West’s petition, the couple plan on honoring their pre-nuptial agreement, meaning each person’s property stayed and will continue to be separate.

Kardashian’s divorce filing came after months of speculation that the two were splitting up. It has been reported that disagreements over how to raise their children contributed to their split.

The news of a divorce follows months of erratic behavior from West. Kardashian repeatedly asked for understanding and care when it came to her husband’s behavior, but an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians from three weeks ago confirmed that the final straw was when West branded Kardashian West and Kris Jenner as “white supremacists” on Twitter.

A source told Page Six at the time of her divorce filing that Kardashian had grown a lot and was done with her husband’s behavior.
