Let’s roll with some more DFS on this Sunday! It is a nine-game main slate at 1:05 p.m. EST. Let’s see what arms, bats, and stacks we can ride with to try to make bank.

Arms
Gerrit Cole ($10,400)
The most expensive pitcher on the slate is trying to be the Yankees’ stopper today as they try to salvage the final game of their series against AL East rival Tampa Bay Rays. Cole has been sharp through three starts the season, really the only consistent Yankees pitcher. He has struck out eight, 13, and eight in the three games while walking just three total. The current Rays lineup is hitting just .178 with a 41.7 percent strikeout rate against Cole.
John Means ($8,000)
The Orioles lefty has been terrific through two starts. He didn’t factor into the decision in his last start against the Yankees, but he still gave up just one run across 4 1/3 innings. His first start against the Boston Red Sox was masterful, as he went seven one-hit, no-run innings while striking out five. The Texas Rangers lineup hasn’t been terrible, but they are beatable.
Bats
Bo Bichette ($5,900)
Bichette hasn’t had a hit in three games, so he’s due. Prior to that, he was on an 11-game hitting streak and was mashing the baseball. He has a favorable matchup against Brady Singer as he has a .759 wOBA against the right-hander’s offerings. Bichette starts a new hitting streak today and gets a hold of one for his fifth homer on the young season.
Nicholas Castellanos ($5,200)
Castellanos has picked up at least one hit in back-to-back games, including a homer on Friday. He is only 3-for-12 against Shane Bieber in his career, but one of the three was hit out of the park. Bieber strikes out guys a lot, but that is something Castellanos doesn’t do too often (15 percent strikeout rate). The Reds slugger is also in the 97th percentile and above in xwOBA, xBA, and xSLG so far this season. Bieber is someone who is at times susceptible to being barrelled up.
Carson Kelly ($4,200)
The Arizona Diamondbacks catcher has been hitting well to start the season with hits in eight of his ten games. He has smashed two homers thus far and has been walking at a high rate while hitting the ball hard. Stephen Strasburg has not been very good through two starts, even though he struck out eight in six shutout innings in his first start. He has been allowing very hard contact (50 percent) and walking way too many. Kelly should continue raking.
Stacks
Washington Nationals vs. Madison Bumgarner
Bumgarner, for lack of a better word, has been a bum, pun intended. He has gone a total of 13 2/3 innings while allowing 17 earned runs in three starts. He holds a 2.20 WHIP, and his advanced metrics back up his poor start. The right-hander is in the bottom 25 percent in most major categories, including Hard Hit percentage, Average Exit Velocity, xwOBA, xSLG, and xERA. His most used pitch is his cutter (40 percent usage) but he has allowed a 1.000 SLG off it while having just an 11 percent put away on it. RIght-handers are currently slugging .635 against Bumgarner. Trea Turner ($5,700) is an easy start here, while Starlin Castro ($4,300), Yan Gomes ($4,100), Victor Robles ($3,600), and Ryan Zimmerman ($4,100) are also solid options.
