Call of Duty League: FaZe Win Big Series Against the Thieves

The Call of Duty League Paris Home Series day 1 ended with a colossus match up of Los Angeles Thieves against Atlanta FaZe.

Map 1: Raid (Hardpoint)

Map 1 started off extremely dominant by the Georgia representatives, hitting 100 points when the Thieves were on a measly 5 points. FaZe carried on this dominant performance with Thieves picking up a very good amount of points in the meantime.

At 249-120 to Atlanta FaZe the LA team decided to mount somewhat of a comeback until the next rotation hit and the map ended 250-160, with Simp dominating the map at 27/14 and 4.2k damage.

Map 2: Express (Search and Destroy)

Going onto the second map Thieves were hoping to capture a point to bring the series to a level and that they did. After losing the first round LA Thieves picked up the next 6 rounds to win the map with the most memorable round being round 5 with Venom picking up a strong 3 piece on the B site with the bomb down and being trapped in a corner.

Map 3: Raid (Control)

It seems like the FaZe roster loves playing Raid today after picking up their second map of the series with a dominating 3-1 performance. Arcitys starting the game off 12/4 after the first round to then turn that into 33/16 and 5.9k damage absolutely wiping the floor with the LA team. The highlight of the map was surprisingly enough Arcitys becoming the human turret.

Map 4: Moscow (Hardpoint)

Going to Russia the two teams battled it out tightly in the second Hardpoint of the series. The two teams went the entire map bouncing scores, trading the lead where Kenny, Drazzah and Arcitys had an amazing map. This map went down to the wire ending 250-224 with the Thieves having to stop a streaking Arcitys killing him on a 9 kill streak.

Map 5: Checkpoint (Search and Destroy)

The final map was reached after what was possibly the best map of the year. After winning the first search Thieves went into this confidence. The first 3 rounds went against the LA team with the 4th going the way of the Thieves.

Following that LA and Atlanta traded rounds with then Thieves took it to 3-5 after a crazy flank from Drazzah but then unfortunately after a kamikaze onto the A site FaZe took the round easily to win the map and series 3-2.

After a struggle in the first week of the Call of Duty League Stage 3 for FaZe, they pick up a huge needed win, will this take them through and help them to a possible second tournament win of the year?
