On the occasion of 7th International Yoga Day, let’s welcome a healthy habit into our lives! Let’s incorporate yoga into our daily routine.

Yoga is one of the oldest forms of physical, mental and spiritual practices that originated in India. It is for people of all ages, genders, shapes and sizes!

We will take you through 3 easy yoga exercises that will help create a positive mind, body and soul. Performing these yoga asanas regularly exercises the full body.

So, bring out your mat, and let’s get started!

It is advised that you start with 5 repetitions of each of these exercises every day. You can gradually increase the number of repetitions as you go forward in your yoga journey.

Surya Namaskar strengthens your back muscles and brings down blood sugar levels. It also improves metabolism and blood circulation (for a glowing skin) and helps women regulate their menstrual cycle.

Virabhadrasana strengthens your shoulders, arms, legs, ankles and back. It opens up the hips, chest and lungs, improves focus, balance and stability, encourages good circulation and respiration and energizes the entire body

Chandra Namaskar improves your sense of taste and balances your emotions. This exercise strengthens the lower back and opens your shoulders. It mobilizes the knees by lubricating the kneecaps and prevents them from turning stiff. The pelvic region becomes more flexible with regular practice. Chandra Namaskar also promotes weight loss and creates a sense of balance in your body.
