Sadokist and moses are making a return to casting for CIS RMR Will these retired commentators stick around on the analyst desk moving forward?

StarLadder has called on two famed retired casters to help broadcast their their CSGO CIS Regional Major Rankings tournament.

Matthew "Sadokist" Trivett has been announced as a commentator for the $100,000 event. This will be his first time behind the microphone since the ICE Challenge in February 2020. He’ll take a break from his amatuer racecar driving career to analyze Eastern Europe’s top teams. Sadokist thanked the CSGO community for their warm welcome with a GIF of vibrating pasta.

Jason "moses" O'Toole’s iconic voice is in too many CSGO highlights to count. His last competitive commentary position was at DreamHack Showdown Summer 2020, where he analyzed both the North American and European divisions. The former CSGO pro has played competitive Counter-Strike since 2003, giving him nearly two decades of experience. He vacated his position as Team Liquid’s coach in May of this year, freeing him up for desk duty at big CSGO events.

After casting his final game at ICE Challenge, Sadokist devoted time to his racing career and lovely pet dog Jayden. Moses switched to a coaching role for Team Liquid’s CSGO division shortly after leaving casting. He helped the squad secure podium finishes at several big tournaments including IEM XV Global Challenge and ESL One: Cologne Online.

The StarLadder CIS RMR will pit ten CIS squads against each other for $100,000 in prize money and 8,750 Regional Major Rankings points starting June 27. Those points will ultimately determine which teams attend the $2,000,000 PGL Major Stockholm in October this year.

The recent cancellation of The International 10 could pose trouble for the event’s intended location. The PGL Major will be the first Valve CSGO event to play on LAN since the Rio Major’s cancellation in 2020.
