Players are torn about old bundle returning to Valorant market Riot Games has reused an old skin bundle Sakura in Patch 3.03 and fans aren't sure how to feel about it.

Riot Games is recycling an old skin pack to make up for the latest patch released with zero new cosmetics.

Apart from a cut-throat competitive spirit, Valorant is known for luxurious skin bundles that keep rolling in patch after patch. Riot Games has delivered dozens of new styles that appeal to players with different preferences. However, act delay has caused the developer to recycle an old design for the first time.

Riot Games recently announced a change in the Act schedule. Instead of August 24, Episode 3 Act 2 will be released on September 8, which means no new items, battle passes, and skins for two more weeks. This is unfortunate news for the players who had their wallets prepared to shop the new bundle. No skin was released in patch 3.30 either, which was a bummer for bundle collectors.

To fill the gap of two weeks, the developer has released Sakura skins as a bundle to the shop.

Sakura was previously released as a collection in the item shop for a limited time, so few players own these skins. However, single items from the set often appear in the rotating shop at cheap rates. Slotted in the Deluxe category, the light-toned skins don't cost much. The bundle sells at the price of 4270VP and 1275VP per gun.

Sakura comes for:

  • Classic
  • Sheriff
  • Stinger
  • Vandal
  • Ares

Valorant community responds to Sakura skin bundle returning

Despite being rare, Sakura isn't exactly the most sought-after skin in Valorant, which is why most players aren't excited about the developer's decision to recycle. The simple skin set belongs to C-tier and players expected at least a Premium bundle to enter the market during the pause.

However, a portion of the Valorant community is elated as players can finally own a bundle that doesn't cost big money. The developer recently released an over-the-top skin set in Sentinels of Light. It was well-received by the community, but the A-tier bundle came at the Exclusive category prices, unaffordable for many.

Sakura will remain in the shop for the next two weeks. As there was no bundle in patch 3.03, Episode 3 Act 2 should bring a brand new skin set and a map. The new act is set to release on September 8, so keep your wallets prepared for shopping.
