COD: Crimsix & Vivid Released By Dallas Empire Ahead Of 2022 Season

The Empire makes a massive change heading into 2022.

Dallas Empire kept a core three of Crimsix, Shotzzy and iLLeY throughout the 2020 and 2021 seasons. After their Champs victory in the inaugural season, the core three stuck together through a disappointing 2021 year.

Today, Dallas Empire announced that three-time World Champion and the most winningest player of all time, Ian “Crimsix” Porter, has been made a restricted free agent alongside Reece ”Vivid” Drost.

The Empire Falls

Crimsix has been at the forefront of the Dallas Empire brand since the beginning, but today, he leaves the team. As the winningest player of all time, Crimsix will undoubtedly be on another roster for the 2022 season. So this move may change the plans of many rosters.

Vivid was also a victim of Empire’s roster change, so the aggressive SMG player will be looking for a new home too. While it was expected to see Vivid dropped, the announcement of Crimsix has shocked the CDL community.
