The Nebraska native will play his final game as a Husker on Black Friday.

The Aurora, Nebraska product took to social media Tuesday to make the announcement in a video.
Dear Old Nebraska,
I want to thank you for everything that you've done for me. You've given me five years of memories and experiences that I'll be forever grateful for. Nebraska just isn't another stop on the path for me; this is home.

Allen has had a record-setting career in his time at Nebraska.
Against Wisconsin, Allen broke Johnny Mitchell's record for yards by a tight end in a game with 143. He also increased his season receptions to 36, breaking Tyler Hoppes's record.
Allen is on the cusp of another Husker tight end record: season receiving yards. He is sitting at 547 in 2021, just 13 shy of Junior Miller, who was a first-round draft pick in 1980.
Allen is the first Husker to announce a decision on next year regarding the use of the NCAA allowed extra season of eligibility.
