Salma Hayek Gets Stuck To Fran Drescher In Hilarious SAG Awards BTS Clip

In a hilarious clip shared widely online, Salma Hayek is seen with her glove stuck to Fran Drescher’s dress in the women’s restroom of the SAG Awards, and according to a caption by Hayek, this malfunction happened “right before” she was supposed to present an award.

“I can’t even believe it, are you videotaping this?” Drescher says to the camera as a masked crew member tries to pry Hayek’s glove away from the embroidery on her gorgeous gown’s neckline. Even though Hayek was apparently in a rush to present an award in the moment, Drescher was unbothered and took the time to make small talk.

Drescher told the House of Gucci actress she had recently sent her reps a letter and said it was about how “I want to pull you into my green council.” She also called Hayek’s performance in Gucci “fearless,” and joked that “I love that we always randomly run into each other, including Boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris.”

As Drescher was chatting in, Hayek also cut in saying “I didn’t get that!” about the letter. We’ll see if Hayek was really playing dumb to avoid that or if she’s been fully brought into whatever “green council” Drescher is forming. You can watch the interaction here:

Even though Hayek seemed to make it to the stage without issue, this was followed by a more public blooper in the ceremony. When Hayek announced the winner she was meant to present, Dopesick’s Michael Keaton was nowhere to be found. He was seen rushing to the stage from the men’s room after a few moments of Hayek nervously filling the silence.

Clearly the bathroom coordination this year wasn’t the smoothest that it has ever been, the SAG Awards ceremony was still an entertaining broadcast overall that saw plenty of great actors and shows be recognized for the first time this awards season.
