John Travolta, Mila Kunis and Lupita Nyong’o will present at the 94th Academy Awards

John Travolta, Mila Kunis and Lupita Nyong’o will present at the 94th Academy Awards.

The trio will be joined by Naomi Scott, Daniel Kaluuya - last year’s Best Support Actor winner - and Wesley Snipes at the ceremony on March 27th, according the event’s producers Will Packer and Shayla Cowan.

The freshly announced names add to the already existing lineup of presenters Lady Gaga, Kevin Costner, Anthony Hopkins - 2021’s Best Actor winner -, Lily James, Zoë Kravitz, John Leguizamo, Simu Liu, Rami Malek, Rosie Perez, Chris Rock, Uma Thurman, Black Panther costume designer Ruth E. Carter and last year’s Best Supporting Actress Yuh-Jung Youn.

This week, Will shared how he and everyone involved - the first entirely Black production team - are working to refresh the awards, which are being hosted by comics Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes.

He said: "You need something other than just a chance to see stars. We have to make a show that is entertaining and appeals to a broad swath of the viewing public."

"My approach is to bring everybody together around the idea of a love for cinema. And so one of the things you'll see is that not everyone involved with the show may be a movie person."

"It absolutely means that we are not limited to just folks within the [traditional] movie industry,"

"I want to make sure this felt like something that was as wide-ranging and far-reaching as the movies themselves."
