The author and former editor of Vanity Fair and The Daily BeastTina Brown, will soon be releasing a new book about the Royal Family, The Palace Papers: Iside the House of Windsor–The Truth and the Turmoil.

Both in the new book and in interviews for The Telegraph promoting it, Brown used the platform to call the marriage of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle “a powerful co-dependency,” and also criticized the former royals for the manner of their departure from the family.

Brown did admit that Markle had “a very tough entry into England,” but then pretty much immediately worked to downplay her experience with racism in British media and, allegedly, within the Royal Family itself. She characterized Markle and Harry as “addicted to drama,” and seemed to be more offended by Markle’s explanations of experiencing racism than the actual potential racism that happened.

Brown said that Harry and Meghan’s Oprah interview, where they mentioned several alleged instances of racism in the Royal family and Meghan’s mental health struggles, “was desperately damaging to any relationship that Harry could ever hope to have with this family.” She also said that given Harry is planning on releasing his memoir this year, the family will likely be even more discouraged by what he shares.

Brown also claimed that the biggest targets in Harry’s memoir will be “Charles and Camila and maybe William.” She said Harry would likely consider the Queen “sacrosanct,” and he “probably won’t go after Kate, whom he’s. very fond of.”

She added that Harry has a continuous grudge against Camila Parker Bowles, Prince Charles’ second wife and the woman he had an affair with while married to Princess Diana. She wrote that Prince William has “been a grown-up about it,” but Harry, on the other hand, “doesn’t want Camilla to e queen, he’s very angry that it’s happening.”
