After Sunday’s 115–114 Game 1 loss to the Celtics, the Nets’ Kyrie Irving addressed numerous fan interactions he had during the game.

Irving was caught multiple times giving fans the middle finger and could be seen telling a fan to “suck my d— b—-.” The point guard, of course, played for Boston from 2017 to 2019 before leaving in free agency.

“I’mma have the same energy for them,” he said. “And it’s not every fan, I don’t wanna attack every fan, every Boston fan. When people start yelling p—- or b—- and f— you and all this stuff, there’s just so much you can take.”

Game 2 isn’t until Wednesday evening, so hopefully, tempers subside by then.
