Senate Receives Classified UFO Briefings From Military

Lawmakers on the Senate Intelligence and Armed Service committees have begun receiving briefings from the Pentagon on UFOs.

They are allegedly disappointed with the progress since the National Defense Authorization Act was passed at the end of last year and believe that the Department of Defense should be taking the reports more seriously by adding more analysts and surveillance systems focused on figuring out where UFOs originated.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand(D-New York), who headed the bipartisan group, reportedly believes that the Department of Defense should be moving more quickly and use more of its resources. The December legislation carved out “any resource, capability asset or process” for the Pentagon’s investigation.

“Our national security efforts rely on aerial supremacy and these phenomena present a challenge to our dominance,” Gillibrand previously stated.

Others, like Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tennessee), think the Pentagon has done the work and knows more than they’re willing to share.

“There’s an arrogance in government at that level that we cannot handle what’s going on out there,” Burchett said Monday during an appearance on News Nation’s On Balance with Leland Vittert.

“It’s a bogus cover-up. It doesn’t fit and it’s about power and control,” the representative added.
