Bengals Will Wear White Helmets In 2022 – And Fans Are Going Wild Over It

CINCINNATI, OHIO - SEPTEMBER 12: Joe Burrow #9 of the Cincinnati Bengals jogs off the field after beating the Minnesota Vikings 27-24 in overtime of the Cincinnati Bengals against the Minnesota Vikings at Paul Brown Stadium on September 12,...

The Cincinnati Bengals will wear white helmets this season and fans are weighing in with some reactions.

The team with an announcement has called it the “White Bengal.”

The helmet is also expected to feature black stripes.

“When you wear a helmet like that… you either got to put up or shut up,” the team said.

There’s already been some fan art of what the new uniforms may look like – and boy does the prospect of them look cool.

Here are some of the best reactions from the fans on social media:

One said: “This would go down as maybe the sexiest uniform matchup of all time #Steelers #Bengals.”

Another tweeted: “I’m hoping the Bengals go all white uniforms with white helmets under the lights for TNF week 4.”

And another is envisioning future performances with the white helmets: “burrow in the pocket, has plenty of time to throw, fires downfield he’s got an open man, JAMARR CHASE WITH THE CATCH, ITS AN 85 YARD SCORE!! the bengals’ first touchdown in the new white tiger helmets!!!!”

Moreover, some NFL fans even wanted their own teams to get in on the action.

One user tweeted: “@BuffaloBills, you next get [those] red helmets coming back once and for all.”

During next season, it remains to be seen how many times the Bengals use their alternative helmets.

Maybe that was the missing element for the Bengals, which lost by just three points in the Super Bowl earlier this year.

Also, will other NFL teams follow the Bengal’s trend?

But one thing is for sure: all eyes will be on the team once an official date is set for the White Bengal.

The team will kick off the preseason on August 12, followed by the regular season on September 11 against the Pittsburgh Steelers
