Former White House adviser Steve Bannon said the life of ex-President Donald Trump could be on the line.

“I do not think it’s beyond this administrative state and their deep state apparatus to actually try to work on the assassination of President Trump. I think – I think everything’s on the table,” he told host Alex Jones during an appearance on Infowars.

“I think security ought to be at the highest it’s ever been,” Bannon added. “And honestly, I think he ought to and I think he should have flown down in Mar-a-Lago this morning, walked out there at noon today, and said, hey, I’m running for president, United States. Suck on that.”

Bannon also addressed theFBI’s Monday evening search of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Florida.

“We need… you [Donald Trump] need to get to Mar-a-Lago, the exact place that they desecrated because it was a desecration,” he said. “They did it on purpose. They understand how Mar-a-Lago resonates with not just Maga [the Make America Great Again movement] but to the American people.”

Last month, Bannon was convicted on two contempt of Congress charges after failing to comply with a subpoena issued by the House select committee investigating the January 6 Capitol attack. The first charge is for failure to appear for a scheduled deposition in October 2021 which could result in up to a year in prison. The second charge is for ignoring the subpoena ordering Bannon to hand over records by October 2021, which carries another maximum of one year sentence.
