This week has been a big week for the Travolta family. Ella Bleu Travolta, John Travolta‘s daughter, debuted at New York Fashion Week.

She also attended a Kate Spade presentation and a Karl Lagerfeld event.

Daddy John did not waste time praising his 22-year-old daughter, “so proud of Ella’s debut at fashion week in New York City!”

John made this enthusiastic comment on Instagram underneath a photo he posted of Ella in a sleek navy blue blazer and dark corset.

This has not been the first time that John has heaped praise on Ella.

Earlier this year, the young Travolta debuted her new single “Dizzy.”

After she released a teaser for the song on TikTok, John wrote “I’m so very proud of you Ella, it’s Amazing! Your thrilled Dad!”

Ella has also been extremely busy as she is starring in a contemporary film adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, Get Lost. Travolta and his daughter shared a photo-op with her in costume, for the movie. In an interview in 2019, Travolta said, “She’s different, and she’s gracious, and she’s lovely, she’s well-mannered, and she’s thoughtful, and it’s authentic.”

To celebrate the young model’s 22nd birthday and upcoming movie, the two Travoltas shared an afternoon tea in England. The dining set resembled one ripped straight from Wonderland.

Not only was Travolta in the U.K. to mark the occasion, but also “here to shoot a short film called, The Shepherd based on a book by Frederick Forsyth that I’ve always loved,” Travolta said at the time.

Two years ago, the Travolta family was hit with a massive blow when Kelly Preston, John Travolta’s wife, died of breast cancer.

Last year, Travolta opened up about his deep responsibility to his kids. “I will ensure the future of my children, help them with what they want to do with their lives,” Travolta said.

John is definitely living up to the vow he made in the interview. He has used both his platforms on Instagram and TikTok to advertise “Dizzy,” setting up links in his bio.

Aside from her upcoming film, Get Lost, Ella has starred in two theatrical releases alongside her father, Old Dog (2009) and The Poison Rose (2019).
