While the revival tour for the rock band Paramore has mostly gone mostly to plan, the band had to go online to condemn the actions of one fan at their Salt Lake City, Utah show.

According to the band themselves, a man was “physically and verbally assaulted.”

They also insinuated that he had been ranting homophobic slurs and other hateful language.

Part of their statement also stated: “PARAMORE DOES NOT CONDONE violence, homophobia, or bigotry of any kind. It is supremely unwelcome in our community and has no place at our shows.”

The band also mentioned that they did not notice any of these assaults happening at the time.

Security eventually managed to kick the man out, but the band assured fans that if they had seen him doing it, “we would have stopped the show until the situation was under control.”
