Naga pleads to 172 pilgrims from Israel to self-isolate, report whereabouts
The City government of Naga pleaded Wednesday to 172 pilgrims, who arrived from Israel to self-quarantine for 14 days, and report to the city health office for checking, and to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).In a post on social media, Naga City Mayor Nelson Legacion said the pilgrims were persons under monitoring (PUMs), and “even with our efforts to reach you, you are advised to contact us immediately.”In a press conference Tuesday, Legacion said 55 of the pilgrims arrived on Saturday, 39 on Sunday, and 45 on Tuesday.The fourth batch of 33 pilgrims was expected to arrive...
