Adrian Martinez becomes program's first three-time designee Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez has become the first three-time captain in the history of Nebraska football as he joins Austin Allen, Damion Daniels and Cam Taylor-Britt in the team's official leadership positions announced Saturday evening. Minor injuries force some shuffling at tight end. Scott Frost indicated after Friday's practice that tight end Travis Vokolek's injury isn't major, and he reported progress in the team's vaccination rate. Clarity is emerging in the competition at running back. Part of Wednesday’s practice was open to the media, and one observation of note was the absence of tight ends Travis Vokolek and Austin Allen.
