BMW unveiled a new premium luxury vehicle inspired by supermodel Naomi Campbell on Thursday. The BMW XM Mystique Allure was launched at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. Inspired by Campbell's favourite colour, the vehicle's exterior is a shade of ultramarine blue, with a matte finish. It comes with a sound system created by film music composer Hans Zimmer.

German carmaker BMW has broken ground on a new vehicle battery factory in Germany, a spokesman confirmed to dpa on Tuesday. The plant, located in the Bavarian towns of Irlbach and Straßkirchen, is scheduled to build up to 600,000 high-voltage batteries per year once completed.
