The average asking price for a home in Britain has risen by 1.1% in April, according to property firm Rightmove. Mortgages that require longer-loan repayments are becoming increasingly popular in the UK, according to the banking association UK Finance. Up until recently, the average length of a mortgage in the UK has been 25 years.
