Bayer Leverkusen are offering fans an unusual service after winning a first Bundesliga title. Supporters can receive one of a select number of club tattoos free of charge. The campaign is entitled "Love that lasts a lifetime," a club statement said. The service will take place on three days next week and before the last home Bundesliga game against Augsburg on May 18. A faulty dishwasher forced the interruption of an orchestra concert at the Elbphilharmonie concert hall in Hamburg on Sunday. The broken appliance on the 13th floor of the concert hall triggered a fire alarm, which forced the evacuation of the building in the middle of an ongoing performance by the renowned Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra, according to a fire brigade spokesman. Musicians, the audience and conductor Kent Nagano all had to leave the building. The interruption lasted for around an hour. The performance was later resumed, according to a spokesman for the concert hall.

A female gorilla at the Berlin Zoo, believed to be the oldest gorilla in the world, will celebrate her 67th birthday on Saturday. Fatou, who was born in the wild and has lived at the Berlin Zoo since 1959, was given a special early birthday treat of twigs, lettuce, grapes, bananas and some melon in a basket by zookeepers on Friday. A bullet fired from the revolver used in the murder of John Lennon in New York in 1980 is to go under the hammer in the English city of Newcastle upon Tyne on Thursday and is expected to fetch up to £2,000 ($2,500). Auctioneers Anderson and Garland are selling the souvenir on behalf of the family of Brian Taylor, a British policeman who served with the police force of Northumbria, the region in which Newcastle is located.
