Democrats Investigate 6-Vote Margin Iowa House Race Won By Republican
House Democrats are under fire for opening a federal investigation into a Iowa House race which ended with Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-Iowa), beating out Democrat Rita Hart by just six votes. The Iowa race has already been certified by the state. The House Administration Committee opened the investigation, citing 22 ballots they believe were not counted properly. If the ballots turned in favor of Hart, they would overturn the results. Critics, however, call the federal action overzealous, saying the decision should be left up to the state. Rep.
