Sixty flights at the Munich Airport were cancelled on Saturday following a protest action by climate activists that shut down the airport for nearly two hours earlier in the day. The passengers have all been rebooked on other aircraft, airport spokesman Robert Wilhelm told dpa, adding that 1,000 departures and landings had been planned for Saturday. All 140,000 passengers would reach their destinations, although a large proportion would be delayed, Wilhelm said.
