The initial fears that the Washington Football Team‘s Logan Thomas tore his ACL are true. Thomas suffered the injury in the team’s December 5 game against the Las Vegas Raiders in a low hit by Yannick Ngakoue, a hit that Washington coach Ron Rivera called “avoidable.” The medical staff first called it an ACL tear, but as they continued to do tests on it the following week, downgraded the diagnosis to a knee injury.
