Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton Won’t Testify At His Own Impeachment Trial
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) has refused to testify at his impeachment trial. He is being charged on more than 20 counts, including accusations of bribery and abuse of power. Paxton is at risk of being permanently removed from office. Multiple senior aides reported Paxton to federal authorities, claiming that he used his status to help a real estate investor from Austin, Nate Paul, who was being investigated for fraud.
