New York Yankees Manager Aaron Boone Renews Contract Until 2024
On Tuesday, manager Aaron Boone signed a three-year contract extension with the New York Yankees. Boone was called up to lead the Yankees as manager on Dec. 4, 2017, after ownership decided not to extend Joe Gerardi‘s contract. Since Boone’s inaugural season, he has maintained a winning record (328-218) in the regular season. He and the Yankees have also made post-season appearances in all of his four seasons and reached the ALCS in 2019.
