An expected move is that much closer to becoming official. Lonzo Ball is preparing to exercise his $21.4 million player option with the Chicago Bulls, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported. The 6-foot-9 sophomore from Bellevue, Nebraska also considered schools like Kansas State, Nebraska, Iowa State, and others. UCLA freshman guard Jan Vide has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3 has learned. Vide will have multiple years of eligibility remaining. A native of Slovenia, Vide struggled to catch on with the Bruins as a true freshman. He played in 24 games and averaged 1.9 points per game, playing 7.3 minutes a game. UCLA junior shooting guard Will McClendon has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3 has learned. He will have multiple years of eligibility remaining. McClendon played in 33 games for the Bruins in 2023-24, starting four. He averaged 21 minutes a night and averaged 4.1 points per game. All told, McClendon played in 60 games for the Bruins across the past two seasons. He redshirted the 2021-22 season as a true freshman.
