Laurel Goodwin has died, aged 79. The ‘Star Trek’ star passed away on 25 February in Cathedral City, California, according to her obituary shared online on Monday (07.03.22). Laurel - who was born in 1942 in Wichita, Kansas and then relocated with her family to San Diego - snagged a contract at Paramount Studios when she was 19 after arriving in Los Angeles following studying drama at SF State. Her co-stars include the hearthrob Elvis Presley, who starred opposite in the 1962 flick ‘Girls! Girls! Girls!’ which saw him and Jeremy Slate compete for her character Laurel Dodge's affections.
