Chocolate Butter Cake with Cherries

Ingredients for 20-24 pieces:

100 g milk chocolate
¼ l buttermilk
1 cube (42 g) fresh yeast
175 g butter
500 g flour
200 g sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 egg (size M)
250 g morello cherries (or morello cherries in a jar)
30 g amarettis
80 g chocolate flakes
50 g almond flakes
Also:
Grease for the baking tray

Preparation:

1. Chop the chocolate. Warm the buttermilk slightly. Dissolve the yeast and chocolate in it. Melt 75 g butter. Put the flour, 100 g sugar and salt in a mixing bowl. Add the yeast, chocolate milk, butter and egg. Work into a smooth dough with the dough hooks. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for approx. 20 minutes.

2. Clean, wash and stone the cherries (drain the preserves).

3. Roll out the dough on a greased baking tray and leave to rise again for approx. 20 minutes.

4. Spread the cherries, amarettis and chocolate chips on top. Lightly press 100 g butter into the dough in small cubes. Sprinkle with flaked almonds and 100 g sugar.

5. Bake in the preheated oven (E.-Herd: 200 °C/ Gas: Level 3) for 20-25 minutes.
