Chocolate red wine cake

For 16 pieces:

Ingredients:

200 g soft butter
200 g sugar
2 packets bourbon vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 eggs
2 tablespoons rum
2 tbsp. cocoa
250 g flour
2 tsp. baking powder
150 g dark chocolate chips
150 ml red wine

Decoration:

200 g vanilla cake icing

Preparation:

1. Mix butter, sugar, bourbon vanilla sugar and cinnamon. Add eggs one after the other, stirring each egg for at least 2 minutes. Add rum. Mix cocoa, flour, baking powder and mix shaved chocolate. Stir in flour mixture and red wine briefly.

2. Pour the mixture into a well greased and floured loaf pan and bake in a preheated oven at 175° or gas mark 3 for approx. 60 minutes. Leave to rest in the tin for 5 minutes and then carefully turn out onto a cooling rack.

3. Melt cake glaze according to package instructions and decorate cake with it.
