Leek and sausage skewers with tasty dips

Ingredients for 4 people:

2 coarse sausages
2 leek stalks
salt
wooden skewers
a few drops of oil

For the chilli plum dip:

2 heaped tbsp. plum jam
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 pinch of chilli flakes
Salt
For the mustard dip
4 tbsp fig jam
2 tbsp grainy mustard

Preparation:

1. Scald sausages in hot water for approx. 10 minutes.

2. Halve the leek lengthwise and wash thoroughly. Green leek strips (approx. 200 g; use the rest elsewhere) in salted water for 1 minute. Drain, rinse with cold water and drain well. Cut the sausage into pieces and wrap with leek strips. Secure with wooden skewers.

3. Brush a grill pan with oil. Heat and fry the sausage skewers all around.

4. For the chilli and plum dip, mix the plum puree, ketchup and vinegar. Season with chilli flakes and salt.

5. Mix the ingredients for the mustard dip. Mix everything together.

Preparation time approx. 30 minutes
