Fans of Money Heist can't afford to miss Netflix's latest treasure hunt series

It’s all but impossible to exhaust your Netflix subscription. You could do your best to stay up to date with shows and movies being added, but with a whole host of new titles weekly your efforts would be in vain. The key? It’s all about being selective—what genres float your boat the most? If you’re of the opinion that heist dramas come along far too infrequently, Netflix has a treat for you, wrapping up complete with a bow their latest offering Bandidos.

Bandidos series now streaming on Netflix

The new series Bandidos is a Mexican heist action-drama and was added to Netflix on Wednesday, March 13th 2024.

Delivering some must-see TV across seven episodes, the series introduces audiences to Miguel, a hustler who together with his accomplice Lili begins to assemble a group of thieves to pull off the ultimate heist.

They plan to dive deep underwater and steal away long-lost Mayan treasure. The mission is difficult and complex enough as it is, locating the Spanish ship that sank during the War of Independence in the Gulf of Mexico. However, they’re not the only people with sights on the loot, with rivals also closing in and willing to go to extreme measures to get what they want.

The heist elements are brilliantly orchestrated, and if you’re a fan of shows like Money Heist you’re sure to have a blast with this much quirkier affair.

Among the cast featured are Ester Expósito (Elite), Mabel Cadena (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever), Alfonso Dosal (One Small Problem), Juan Pablo Medina (The House Of Flowers), and more.

It has already begun earning praise, with one fan declaring it “fun and very well directed by Adrián Grünberg.” Check it out if you’re looking for your next streaming adventure. Although gritty in parts, it infuses elements from things I loved to watch as a kid like National Treasure, so it has an impressively layered appeal.

Is Bandidos on Netflix in English or subtitled?

The original presentation of Bandidos on Netflix is with ‘Spanish (Latin America)’ audio paired with English subtitles.

However, those who aren’t fans of watching shows with subtitles can select their preferred language, including English, from the audio options and turn the subtitles off. There is a list of audio dubs available.

So, you can watch Bandidos with original audio and subtitles or English audio, depending on your preference.

Bandidos is streaming exclusively on Netflix.
