Ahead of the all-new Buying Beverly Hills season release on March 22, Mauricio Umansky reveals how excited he is to have another of his daughters on board at The Agency. Although his working life looks to be super busy and demanding, outside of that, Mau says he’s purposefully “spending time alone.”
Lifting the lid on their love lives ahead of Buying Beverly Hills season 2, the Netflix show’s cast chatted with E! News this March. The fresh episodes will see the Umanskys in a “new chapter” according to Farrah Aldjufrie. The family reflects on the positives of Kyle Richards and Mau’s marriage despite their separation last year.
Mauricio Umansky on ‘dating’
After news of Mau and Kyle’s separation was initially explored on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Netflix viewers are set to see more of the family’s changing dynamics on Buying Beverly Hills.
Speaking to E! in regard to whether he’s currently “dating,” Mauricio said: “No, I’m spending a lot of time by myself.”
He added: “I’m kind of getting to learn myself and to enjoy myself and I’ve been enjoying that process. I’m not in a rush to do anything at the moment. I am enjoying the journey, I’ve got a lot of stuff to do in business. There is no rush to go out there, I’m just taking it a day at a time.”
Umansky’s are in a ‘different spot’
In the same interview ahead of Buying Beverly Hills’ season 2 release, Farrah explained how the family is now “in a different spot.”
She said: “That does not take away the 27, 26 years of an amazing marriage, amazing parents, that kept our family so strong and so tight.”
The 35-year-old added how “that’s the takeaway” despite the reality stars being in a “new chapter.”
She concluded: “We are just trying to adapt and be empathetic and supportive even though it is very unusual and different.”
Alex and Farrah also split
Not only are Kyle and Mauricio going through it in season 2, but their older daughter, Farrah, also experiences some heartache on the Netflix show.
In season 1, Farrah got engaged to her then-partner, Alex Manos. But, speaking to E!, the reality TV star confirmed they’re no longer together.
Farrah said: “You will be seeing what happened. You will be seeing me experiencing it in real life. At the moment we are not together, but no bad blood. It was amicable.”
