TV star's surgery 'to remove turkey gobbler' came after feeling 'self-conscious'

All the rumors, queries, and questions can come to a grinding halt because Brittany Cartwright has spoken. Coming straight from the horse’s mouth, Brittany explains why her face is looking slightly different during The Valley. Fans were quick to begin speculating what “work” the star had done.

Many people will likely remember Brittany from her time on Vanderpump Rules. The Bravo star appeared in season 4 as a guest before remaining on the show until season 8. Her (now former) partner, Jax Taylor, also appeared on the reality series from season 1 to 8.

Brittany Cartwright mouth

A brand new Bravo show following some former Vanderpump Rules stars kicked off this March.

The Valley sees Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, Kristen Doute, and some of their friends living their best “adulting” lives.

Since Brittany’s return to reality TV, viewers have been dissecting her appearance, with many suggesting her mouth looks different.

One fan commented on her Instagram post: “I like Brittany so much, what happened to her mouth?”

More were asking the same question. Thankfully, Brittany cleared up why her face has gone through some alterations during episode 1.

The Valley star was ‘self conscious’

Speaking in a confessional during The Valley season 1 episode 1, Brittany explained how she and her husband, Jax, are “lucky” to have friends who are plastic surgeons.

She adds: “They did all three or four of Jax’s nose jobs, they did my boobs.”

Ten days on from her chin surgery, Brittany said “For the longest time I have been so self-conscious about my double chin, or like a turkey gobbler is what we like to call it.”

She had liposuction on her chin before The Valley began filming.

Brittany is ’emotional’ on The Valley

The Valley trailer teased how some marriages were on the rocks during filming.

Taking to Instagram, Brittany wrote how she was feeling “emotional” and shared the trailer online.

Now, she and Jax are currently “separated,” and according to an exclusive report from Page Six, the two went their separate ways for multiple reasons.

The two had been together for nine years and married for five before they split earlier this year.
