Dr Pimple Popper is a pro at removing lipomas but Alonso had so many that even she was struggling with the pain in her hand from squeezing them out of his legs.
The TLC show is currently off-air, but luckily we have Dr Pimple Popper‘s throwbacks to keep us popaholics going until then. Let’s take a look at Alonso’s many lipomas.
Dr Pimle Popper’s patient Alonso has ‘over 70 fatty lumps’ on his body
Alonso has over 70 fatty lumps on his body, with the majority of them being on his legs. He first noticed the condition when he was around 18 years old and was told they’re benign lipomas.
However, the number increased, and he’s hoping Dr Sandra Lee can help him remove them once and for all.
The lumps have knocked his confidence greatly, and he does all he can to keep the lumps hidden.
He then takes a visit to Dr Pimple Popper’s office, who concludes he’s suffering from Familial Multiple Lipomatosis, a rare condition that causes multiple lipomas. It normally runs in the family, and Alonso’s mother also suffers from the condition.
Dr Lee removes 28 lipomas
Alonso takes to the operating table, and Dr Lee begins to pop and squeeze the lipomas out of his leg which she describes as “little brains”.
She removes 15 lipomas from the patient’s right leg, and although all the squeezing is tiring for the doc, she manages to remove 27 in total!
“Dr Lee changed my life,” Alonso exclaimed as he admires his new legs. “Ladies, watch out!” he jokes.
